We carry both the OEM brand name, and recycled / compatible cartridges, which are fully guaranteed. And Ink Technologies has all of the Lexmark printer cartridges you need, at a great price. If you own a Lexmark printer, congratulations – it's a quality machine. Only Lexmark toner cartridges (or their OEM toner) have this ability which enables them to provide more specialized and advanced printing and imaging solutions. The semiconductors can also store usage data, which proves useful in developing new and better solutions based on use. The semiconductors ensure the proper calibration of black (and/or color) Lexmark printer toner is applied to the document, resulting in a better looking end-product. In addition, each Lexmark toner cartridge is equipped with semiconductors to improve performance. Laser toner use is also cut by this technology, making a Lexmark toner cartridge outlast the competition. This fuses the Lexmark printer toner more accurately on the page, which in turn provides cleaner text and graphics – a staple of Lexmark. A good example is the Lexmark "E-series" printers, which are known for their use of a single miniature rotating mirror to reflect the laser. In terms of technology, the company has made several strides. One aspect that sets Lexmark apart from most other printer manufacturers is the company generally stays in the printer/document management industry (although since they've only been around – officially - a few decades, there's still plenty of time to expand into other areas!) Besides the Lexmark brand printers and toner cartridges, they are also the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) for Dell and (obviously) IBM brands. Toner cartridges were part of this new company as well, since IBM sold the printer supply manufacturing as well. Based in Lexington KY, the new company was named Lexmark.
Basically, IBM wanted to get out of the printer manufacturing business, and sold their printer manufacturing to an investment firm. Or, one could say they've been around forever as well – you see, they began life in 1991 as an IBM spinoff company.
Lexmark is a fairly late entry into the laser printer market.
